Ousted state minister Murad Hasan returned home after he failed to enter Canada and United Arab Emirates.
An Emirates flight EK-586 carrying Murad Hasan landed on Shahjalal International Airport Sunday (December 12).
The controversial leader left for Canada on Thursday (December 9). However, he failed to enter the country through Pearson International Airport in Toronto. Later, he returned to UAE and applied for visa but denied.
A phone record was leaked where Murad was heard talking with actor Mahia Mahi in inappropriate language after he made defamatory comments on Khaleda Zia’s granddaughter Zaima Rahman.
On December 5, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina asked Murad to step down as state minister. Murad sent his resignation later the following day.
