Murad suspended from Jamalpur district Awami League unit

Jamalpur district Awami League has suspended Murad Hasan, the newly resigned State Minister for Information and Broadcasting. 

He was the Health, Population and Family Welfare Secretary of Jamalpur District Awami League.

Jamalpur district Awami League president Advocate Baki Billah confirmed the matter to reporters at 5:00 pm on Tuesday (December 6).

He said, "It has been decided unanimously to release him off duties on charges of tarnishing the image of the party and violating organizational discipline." The decision paper will be sent to the central by tonight.

The district committee has not decided to expel anyone from the party's primary membership, the central committee will decide on the matter, he added.
