The government has launched a nationwide security operation, "Operation Devil Hunt," following a violent attack on students and civilians in Gazipur last night.
In response to the incident, a high-level meeting was held today (Saturday) at the Ministry of Home Affairs, where law enforcement agencies discussed measures to maintain order and bring the perpetrators to justice.
As a result, it was decided that a coordinated operation involving joint forces would start immediately.
The operation is set to begin across Gazipur and extend nationwide from today, aiming to curb unrest and ensure public safety.
Authorities have announced that further details regarding "Operation Devil Hunt" will be disclosed in a press briefing tomorrow.
The attack, allegedly carried out by militants loyal to a former autocratic regime, left several individuals critically injured on Friday night.
Law enforcement agencies have been instructed to take strict action to restore stability and prevent further violence.
