Prime Minister to expatriate Bangladeshi: Tarnish image of the country no longer be tolerated

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said to the Bangladeshi diaspora in different countries, Bangladesh will not make minimum efforts to save them if anyone is involved in any crime by breaking the law. She warned that it will not be tolerated if the image of the country is tarnished.

She said these things in the speech of the chief guest at a civic reception organized by expatriate Bangladeshis at Bangladesh MH School in Qatar's capital Doha on Tuesday.

The prime minister said, "It will not be tolerated that the image of the country will be tarnished by the crime of any individual."

The head of government said, "You have to follow the laws of the country you are staying in." For example, if you are in Qatar, you must follow the laws of this country."

She also said, "If someone breaks this law or gets involved in any crime by breaking the law, we (the government) will not take the responsibility, no one will take it." If he does not obey the laws of the country he is staying in, then he will be judged according to the prevailing laws of that country and everyone should keep this in mind. The government will not take responsibility for any crime.”

Sheikh Hasina said, "It spoils the image of the country, because of one person, other people suffer. They are in danger. That is why we want to send people with training. Many people don't take that training properly."

The Prime Minister urged the expatriates to send money to the country through legal channels and said that many times one has to face huge losses in the greed of getting a little bit more. You should keep that in mind.
