Three persons were killed when a speeding passenger bus rammed a motorcycle and a bicycle at Kashiani in Gopalganj on Tuesday afternoon.
The accident took place on the Dhaka-Khulna highway at Pona bus stand area of Kashiani upazila.
The deceased were identified as motorcyclist and Madrasha Teacher M A Hasib, son of Samsul Haque, bicyclist Nobir Sheikh (22) son of Lokman Sheikh and Md Raza Mia’s son Abdur Rahim (20).

He said a Khulna-bound passenger bus of Dola Paribahan coming from Dhaka lost control when it came to near the Pona bus stand and rammed a motorcycle and a bicycle. The accident left motorcyclist M A Hasib dead on the spot and bicyclist Nobir Sheikh and Abdur Rahim injured. They were taken to the nearby Kashiani upazila health complex where the doctor on duty declared them dead.
