Rohingya woman dies while fleeing Bhasan Char

A 30-year-old Rohingya woman, who fled Bhasan Char Rohingya camp for Teknaf, died in Noakhali's Subarnachar upazila on Sunday.

Setara Begum, daughter of late Noor Mohammad, lived in cluster number-10 of Bhasan Char, said Ziaul Haque, officer-in-charge (OC) of Char Jabbar police station.

 The law enforcers held Noor Bahar, 60, mother of the deceased, following the incident.

 Noor Bahar and Setara fled Bhasan Char, a remote island in Noakhali's Hatiya upazila on Saturday.
