The mystery behind the killings of four Rohingya leaders

Mohammad Hashim (21), a Rohingya youth, described how the four leaders of the Rohingya camp in Ukhia of Cox's Bazar were killed and who were the perpetrators behind the killings.

He revealed the fact that four leaders were killed in a month through a video he published in the social media Facebook.

In the video, Hasim narrated how the helmsman of the camps got killed by his Pistol's bullets. He also informed that an Islamic organization, 'Mahaj,' provided him with the weapon, and they also provided weapons to 25 others.

Hasim said in the video, "We used to carry out every killing mission after receiving a huge amount of money. Our main task was to kill those who worked on repatriation. Within 5-6 days, we killed three sailors and one volunteer.'

The young man also mentioned the names of the victims of murder. They are – sailor Zafar of Camp No. 18 of Ukhiya, Ismail of Camp No. 7, Ershad of Kutupalong Extension Camp-4H Block, and Head sailor Azimullah.

In the video message, Hasim mentioned the names of four spokespersons of the terrorist organization Mahaj. They are Zimmadar Shahab Uddin, Rahmat Ullah, Head Majhi Bhuiyan, Maulvi Rafiq. He said that these perpetrators used to lead this organization.

Hasim also said that they had a bigger mission ahead of them. But he realized his mistake and consequently returned to normal life, forgetting the mistakes and learning from them.

In this regard, Additional Superintendent of Police of 8-Armed Police Battalion (APBN) Farooq Ahmed, who is in charge of the Rohingya camp, said, "Measures will be taken against the Rohingya youth whose names are mentioned in the video, subject to investigation." We are always alert for the security of the camp.
