US entry ban is a rumour, says Palak

The US sanctions imposed on various individuals and agencies of Bangladesh has now become a political hot potato. 

Rumours started to circulate on social media that despite being on state visit, Zunaid Ahmed Palak, state minister of ICT was barred from entering the United States. 

However, he has confirmed that these are all rumours. 

To bust such rumours, the state minister took it to his social media and posted information regarding his visit along with selfie in the US.  

On Sunday, a picture was posted from a Facebook account named Kabir Ahmed with a picture of State Minister Palak . The person using the Facebook account claims to be the general secretary of BNP-Ireland. 

"Another good news," he wrote in the post. The US did not allow Palak, the minister of the illegal government, to enter the US. His schedule was in Washington and New York! But they did not allow him to enter..."

In response to such the post, Zunaid Ahmed Palak said, “Jamaat-BNP agents are spreading all kinds of rumours online. What happened in my case is a shining example of their lies. We are recording these as our case studies"
