The commerce ministry has sent three names including two secretaries to give them room in the list to operate the e-commerce site Evaly as per the directives given by the High Court.
The ministry recommendation includes local government secretary Rezaul Ahsan, reformation secretary Yakub Ali Patwary and former secretary Maksudur Rahman Patwary. One of the trio will get room in the committee. The names have been submitted to the court for forming the committee.
A bench of Justice Muhammad Khurshid Alam will pass the order on Wednesday (October 13). The commerce ministry lawyer Tapash Kanti Bal confirmed the matter to the media.
Earlier on Tuesday, the high court directed to form the committee to run the e-commerce platform. In its directives, the court expressed wish to keep a former justice, a secretary, a chartered accountant and a lawyer in the committee.
