The budget of the upcoming fiscal year will be placed on the parliament on June 9, Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal said.
The minister disclosed the information at a press briefing after a meeting of the cabinet committee of public purchase on Wednesday.
He said:"This time, the government will surely take step, which will bring comfort to the lives of the general people."
The initial size of the budget is set at Tk 677,864 crore and the target for revenue income is Tk 431,657 crore.
