The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has extended the deadline for individual taxpayers to submit their income tax returns by another one month.
According to a special order issued on Saturday, taxpayers will now be able to file returns for the 2025–26 tax year until January 31.
Earlier, the NBR had extended the deadline to December 30.
The tax authority said the decision was taken in the public interest to give taxpayers more time to complete their returns.
