The API coordination program has been inaugurated with the aim of conducting housing construction investment activities under the existing agreement between Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited and Bangladesh House Building Finance Corporation (BHBFC).
Through this, customers of BHBFC`s Shariah-based Manjil investment product can pay their investment installments through Islami Bank`s Cellfin, i-banking and other alternative services. On 6 March 2023, in the presence of the Bank`s Managing Director and CEO Muhammad Munirul Mawla and BHBFC`s Managing Director Md. Abdul Mannan, the Bank`s Deputy Managing Director Jamal Uddin Mazumder and BHBFC`s Deputy Managing Director Arun Kumar Chowdhury signed the MoU at Islami Bank Tower on Monday. At this time, Additional Managing Director Muhammad Qaiser Ali, Md. Omar Farooq Khan and J. Q. M. Habibullah, FCS, Deputy Managing Directors Md. Siddiqur Rahman and Abul Faiz Muhammad Kamaluddin, Executive Vice Presidents Md. Mizanur Rahman Bhuiyan and Md. Rezaul Karim and BHBFC General Manager Md. Khairul Islam along with senior executives of both institutions were present.
