HSC exams 2026 to be held on full syllabus in May–June

The Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations of 2026 will be conducted on the full syllabus, with full marks and full exam duration, in all subjects. The exams are scheduled to take place in May–June 2026.

The announcement was made through a circular signed by RabiuI Kabir Chowdhury, Acting Chairman of the National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB), which was published on the official website of the Dhaka Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education on Saturday (August 23).

According to the circular, academic activities for students admitted to class XI under the 2024–25 academic session began in the second week of August 2024. These students will appear in the HSC, Alim, and equivalent examinations in 2026.

The notice further stated that the examinations will follow the complete curriculum as determined by the NCTB, and will be held for full marks within the allocated time for each subject.
