The results of the SSC and equivalent examinations for 2026 will be published on August 10.
Secondary and Higher Education Division Secretary Md. Abdul Khaleque confirmed the information to the media on Monday.
The results were originally scheduled to be published on July 20, but the release was postponed as preparations had not been completed. On July 18, Professor Syed Akhtaruzzaman, chairman of the Dhaka Education Board and president of the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee, said that it would not be possible to publish the results on July 20. However, he said preparations were underway to release the results within July.
Earlier, at a press conference held at the Secretariat on June 8, Education Minister A N M Ehsanul Haque Milan had announced that the results of the 2026 Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations would be published on July 20. Necessary instructions had also been issued to the concerned authorities in this regard.
This year’s SSC and equivalent examinations began on April 21, 2026. The written examinations ended on May 20, followed by practical examinations.
More than 1.857 million candidates appeared in this year’s SSC, Dakhil, and SSC (Vocational) examinations under nine general education boards, the Madrasah Education Board, and the Technical Education Board.
