The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent exams started smoothly on Thursday.
Considering the usual traffic jams in the peak morning hours the education board shifted the time to 11am instead of 10am.
It is to be noted that although the SSC examination was supposed to start on June 19, it was postponed due to the flood situation in various parts of the country including Sylhet.
Large gathering of parents, triggering traffic has been witnessed in Dhaka today.
A total of 2,021,868 students from 29,591 educational institutions will appear in the exams of SSC, Dakhil and SSC (vocational) at 3,790 centres.
