Rain or drizzle is expected in one or two locations across Khulna division and the Faridpur region tomorrow, according to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) yesterday.
It may last for three to four days, according to the BMD`s 9:00 a.m. meteorological forecast today.
The weather could remain dry, with a partly cloudy sky throughout the country today, according to the bulletin.
Moderate to thick fog may occur over the river basins, with light to moderate fog elsewhere in the country from midnight to dawn. According to the BMD alert, dense fog may cause temporary disruptions in inland river transport.
A mild to moderate cold wave is sweeping through Dhaka, Rajshahi, and Rangpur divisions, as well as the districts of Moulvibazar, Cumilla, Feni, Jashore, Chuadanga, Barishal, and Bhola, and it may subside in certain areas.
Night temperatures could increase slightly, while day temperatures may remain almost unchanged across the country.
This morning, Dinajpur recorded the country`s lowest temperature of 5.7 degrees Celsius. Tetulia had a temperature of 5 degrees Celsius one day ago. The minimum temperature in Dhaka was 12.3 degrees Celsius this morning.
