Leaders from seven Arab countries met in Riyadh on Friday to discuss the reconstruction of Gaza after the devastating conflict.

The meeting, led by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, brought together important figures such as King Abdullah II of Jordan, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, Qatar‍‍`s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, and Bahraini Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

The gathering was organized in response to U.S. President Donald Trump’s controversial plan to take control of Gaza.

The Arab leaders made it clear that they strongly rejected Trump‍‍`s proposal.

They stated that the plan would derail years of efforts towards Palestinian self-determination and harm the rights of Gaza’s residents.

According to reports by Al Arabiya, the Arab League is set to meet on March 4 in Cairo to discuss alternative plans to Trump’s Gaza proposal.

However, details about the outcome of Friday’s meeting and whether the leaders reached an agreement on a new plan have not been officially revealed.

This ongoing situation has the potential to reshape the future of Gaza, with international attention focusing on the next steps.
