A passenger plane carrying 133 people has crashed in a mountainous region in southern China.
Chinese media reported that the Boeing 737 passenger plane crashed in Teng County, in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The crash started a fire in the area.
Rescue teams have been rushed to the spot. Casualties are immediately not known.
Social media posts earlier Monday raised alarm that China Eastern Airlines flight MU5735 from Kunming to Guangzhou had gone missing.
