In a recent post on his social media platform, Truth Social, President Donald Trump warned media outlets and authors who rely on anonymous sources, saying that they could face lawsuits.

Trump’s comments came after the release of Michael Wolff‍‍`s new book, All or Nothing: How Trump Recaptured America.

The book delves into Trump’s campaign during his second bid for the presidency and how he managed to regain political power in the United States.

Wolff, a journalist known for his 2018 bestseller Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House, took 18 months to work on the new book.

It touches on the events that unfolded during Trump’s campaign for a second term, with a focus on how he managed to reassert himself as a powerful political figure.

Trump expressed his dissatisfaction with the book on Truth Social, stating, “Fake books and stories are coming out with ‍‍`anonymous‍‍` or ‍‍`off the record‍‍` quotes.”

Referring to Wolff‍‍`s latest book as a "defamatory fantasy," he added,

"This shameless dishonesty will come at a great price. I will do this for the good of our country. Who knows, maybe we will create some beautiful new laws."

Meanwhile, in another development, several major news organizations including Reuters, AP, and Bloomberg were denied access to the first cabinet meeting of the new U.S. administration.

This move was made under the Trump administration‍‍`s newly established media coverage policy.

Although the White House confirmed that traditional media outlets will continue to have access to Trump-related news, they will now decide which outlets are allowed to cover the president in smaller spaces such as the Oval Office.

White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt explained that media outlets will be granted access on a phased basis.

This decision has raised concerns among journalists, with some news agencies accusing the Trump administration of undermining press freedom.

The denial of access to certain media outlets has sparked a broader debate about transparency and the role of the press in holding political leaders accountable.
