In a new message posted on Truth Social, U.S. President Donald Trump issued what he called a “final warning” to the militant group Hamas, emphasizing the urgency of releasing Israeli hostages.
This came on Wednesday, local time, as Trump made clear that the United States is providing Israel with everything needed to bring the ongoing conflict to an end.
“If Hamas fails to act according to the agreement, not a single member of the group will remain safe,” Trump wrote in the post, intensifying his stance on the matter.
The President’s message didn’t stop there; he also called on Hamas to vacate Gaza.
Additionally, Trump offered a hopeful outlook for Gaza’s residents, encouraging them to leave the area and pursue a future beyond the conflict.
This is not the first time that Trump has warned Hamas about the release of hostages.
Back in December, he had made a similar statement concerning the same issue.
Reports from Israel suggest that there are currently 59 hostages being held in Gaza, with authorities estimating that 24 of them are still alive.
As the situation remains tense, Trump’s warning only adds more pressure to Hamas, urging them to comply with the release or face severe consequences.
