Who won ‘King Charles III Harmony Award’ along with CA Yunus

Alongside Professor Muhammad Yunus, several other individuals and organizations were honored with the prestigious Kings Foundation Awards 2025, celebrating contributions to sustainability, innovation, and social impact.

The King‍‍`s Foundation website states about the ‍‍`King Charles III Harmony Award‍‍`, that this special award is given to an individual who has demonstrated outstanding commitment to and support for the philosophy of ‍‍`The King‍‍`s Harmony‍‍` over a long period of time.

Emily Hirst received the Emerging Talent Award for her exceptional skill and dedication during her time with the Kings Foundation program.

A hat maker from London, Emily completed the Chanel & Kings Foundation Métiers d’Art Fellowship in Millinery at Highgrove Gardens.

She developed a deep expertise in the traditional craft of straw plaiting, which now defines her unique style. Football icon David Beckham presented her with the award.

The International Impact Award went to Akoje Residency, a nonprofit initiative founded by Maro Itoje and Khalil Akbar.

Based at Dumfries House in Scotland, Akoje Residency supports artists from Africa, the Caribbean, and the SWANA (Southwest Asia and North Africa) regions through cultural exchange and infrastructural assistance.

Barnaby Horn received the Young Entrepreneur Award for successfully establishing and expanding his own hat-making business after completing the same fellowship as Emily Hirst. His work has been widely recognized for its craftsmanship and innovative designs.

The Teaching Award was presented to Claudia Penaranda Fuentes for her years of dedicated service in the Kings Foundation’s sustainable development programs. Currently serving as the Road Decarbonisation Strategy Lead at Transport for London, Claudia has inspired generations through her teaching and leadership.

Pakistani architect Yasmeen Lari was honored with the Innovation in Practice Award for her groundbreaking contributions to sustainable, climate-conscious architecture and social justice. As Pakistan’s first female architect, she has pioneered eco-friendly construction practices.

Patrick Holden, CEO of the Sustainable Food Trust, received the Advocate of the Year Award for his exceptional efforts in promoting King Charles III’s Harmony philosophy, which emphasizes balance between people, society, and nature.

Scotland’s Auchinleck Primary School was awarded the Community Partnership of the Year for its enthusiastic integration of the Harmony curriculum, benefiting its 180 students, many from underprivileged backgrounds.

The Corporate of the Year Award went to Patagonia, the U.S.-based outdoor apparel company, recognized for its long-standing environmental commitment and contributions to climate-focused initiatives.
