Quota Movement: Hearing on ‘leave to appeal’ against ‘quota reinstatement verdict’ on Sunday

The chamber court has fixed next Sunday for the hearing of the leave to appeal against the High Court‍‍`s verdict declaring the quota cancellation circular invalid. 

Chamber Justice M Enayetur Rahim of the Appellate Division this Thursday evening gave this order.

Attorney General AM Amin Uddin, accompanied by Deputy Attorney General M Saiful Alam, took the application to the chamber court to fix the date of hearing at around 6pm. 

The court sits at the judge‍‍`s residence. Later, Attorney General AM Amin Uddin said that the chamber court has set the next Sunday for the hearing of leave to appeal in the Appellate Division.

According to the Supreme Court‍‍`s website, on Sunday, the bench led by the Chief Justice is scheduled as the third item to hear two leave-to-appeals filed by the state and two students.
