"Sweet on the house top falls the gentle shower,
When jet black darkness crowns the silent hour,
When shrill the owlet pours her hollow tone,
Like some lost child sequester'd and alone."
The verses penned by George Moses Horton remind at a time when Dhaka witnessed first rain of this summer.
The whole city has been drizzled with light rains begun at about 9 pm on Sunday.
There may be a gust of wind with thunder whilst a possibility of light rain and gusty wind in Dhaka tomorrow as well, the Meteorological department said.
Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department forecast for Dhaka and adjoining areas from Sunday 6:00 pm to 1:00am on Monday, adding that the sky may be temporarily partly cloudy. There may be rain or thunderstorms.
The wind can blow from the west/south-west at a speed of 8 to 12 kmph. The night temperature may remain almost unchanged, it said.
