Two unidentified male bodies, estimated to be between 35 and 40 years old, were discovered inside a private car parked at Sirajul Islam Medical College Hospital in Maudaka, Dhaka.
The hospital authorities alerted police on Monday afternoon, leading to the recovery of the bodies.
The deceased were immediately sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) for autopsy.
Crime scene investigation teams from Ramna Police Station and the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) are working at the site.
Ramna Police Sub-Inspector Md. Anwar said the car was parked in the hospital’s basement on Sunday morning and had not been moved since.
Hospital staff noticed the bodies inside on Monday and informed the police. The bodies showed advanced signs of decomposition, and their identities remain unknown as investigations continue.
