Tensions flared at Milestone School and College in Uttara as clashes broke out between students and police around 2:15 PM today.
According to BBC, the incident involved chasing, counter-chasing, and the throwing of bricks and stones.
At least three individuals sustained head injuries during the clash and are currently being taken to the hospital for treatment.
The situation remains tense, with the government’s education and legal advisers, along with the Chief Adviser’s Press Secretary and the entire press wing, reportedly trapped inside the school premises for over two hours.
In response to the unrest, the number of police personnel deployed to the area has been increased to ensure security.
