Following the tragic plane crash at a building of Milestone School and College in Uttara, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has released a detailed breakdown of the injured and deceased across various hospitals in Dhaka.
In a statement issued at 5:25 PM today (Monday), ISPR reported that at least 171 individuals have been injured in the incident and are currently undergoing treatment in different hospitals. According to the breakdown:
Kuwait Maitree Hospital: 8 injured
National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery: 70 injured
Dhaka Medical College Hospital: 3 injured
Combined Military Hospital (CMH): 17 injured
Kurmitola General Hospital: 1 injured
Lubana General Hospital and Cardiac Centre, Uttara: 11 injured
Uttara Adhunik Medical College Hospital: 60 injured
Uttara Crescent Hospital: 1 injured
In addition to the injuries, 20 fatalities have been confirmed. The deceased were taken to the following hospitals:
National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery: 2 bodies
Dhaka Medical College Hospital: 1 body
Combined Military Hospital (CMH): 12 bodies
Kurmitola General Hospital: 2 bodies
Lubana General Hospital: 2 bodies
Uttara Adhunik Medical College Hospital: 1 body
The ISPR statement confirms that, as of now, 20 people have died and 171 have been injured in the Uttara plane crash. Further updates are expected as rescue and investigation efforts continue.
