Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over the country, said a Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) bulletin valid for 24 hours commencing at 9 am today.
"Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions; at a few places over Rangpur, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions and at one or two places over Rajshahi and Dhaka divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country," the bulletin said.
The day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, it added.
Country's maximum temperature on Saturday was recorded 34.5 degrees Celsius at Cumilla and minimum temperature today was 25.0 degrees Celsius at Rangpur.
The highest rainfall in the last 6 hours till 6am today was recorded 96 mm in Nikli.
