BNP‍‍`s senior leader, Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed, made strong remarks on Monday, saying that many of the advisors in the interim government are unable to handle criticism.

Speaking at an event in Dhaka, he emphasized the importance of constructive criticism in a democracy.

He said,

"Many advisors get angry when criticized. In a democracy, the opposition will criticize, and through that, the government will make corrections. If they can‍‍`t tolerate criticism, they should resign and form a political party."

Rizvi, a senior leader of the BNP, also addressed the country‍‍`s future political landscape.

"We need to ensure fair elections, judicial independence, and the rule of law.Any political protests or movements should never be suppressed by the police using gunfire, and this practice must be permanently banned. No government should be allowed to establish a brutal rule or law," he added.

In his speech, Rizvi accused the ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina of instigating unrest from abroad. "Sheikh Hasina is desperate to bring back her brutal regime.

Now, living in a neighboring country, she is directing her party members and supporters to engage in various conspiratorial and provocative activities.

After failing to gain public support, the Awami League is now resorting to online strikes and blockades," he said.

He concluded by calling for political reforms, stating,

"We need reforms to ensure that no government can suppress the people through threats or fear."
