Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, Senior Joint Secretary General of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), has raised serious allegations against the government, blaming its mismanagement and policies for tragic accidents resulting in loss of lives, even on the day of Eid.
In a video message circulated on Friday morning (April 12), Rizvi asserted, "Despite the government`s claims of improved road management, there is no respite for the people." He criticized the lack of accountability, accusing the government of neglecting its responsibilities towards citizens.
Describing Dhaka as a "hellhole of fire," the BNP leader highlighted incidents of fire-related deaths even on Eid day, attributing them to government mismanagement. He emphasized the absence of accountability, citing the government`s lack of electoral legitimacy as a contributing factor to the people`s suffering.
