Dhallywood superstar Shakib Khan finally spoke about Pori Moni issue on Saturday (August 14). The famous actor took to his verified Facebook fan page and wrote a lengthy post explaining his views on the ongoing media frenzy about the Dhallywood starlet.
As a fellow actor in the same industry, Shakib thinks, “Pori Moni has no parents. And there is a significant difference between her struggle and any other people.”
He also thinks that “due to the lack of proper direction from her family, she could not make the right decision at many times in her lifetime.”
With due respect to local law enforcement agencies, he also heavily criticised the decision of the ongoing social media circus around the issue before the end of her ongoing investigation in a couple of separate cases.
After the sensational RAB raid at Pori’s Banani home on August 4, Pori Moni was removed from Bangladesh Film Actors’ Association.
Shakib heavily criticised Bangladesh Film Actors’ Association’s recent decisions like this.
Shakib wrote: “Even more tragic is the fact that for the last few days, I have noticed that right after her raid, on the basis of allegations, the Film Artists' Association quickly held a press conference and suspended her membership at once.”
“In the past, several popular and senior artists have been arrested on even more heinous charges. But the association did not suspend the membership of the accused then. Rather it went on their side, protested for them on the street,” he added.
He even wrote: “But these behaviours of the present Artists’ Association are very controversial. Once again they have proven, that this association could not unite everyone in the industry, but separated them. This association has ruined the work environment in the industry by creating divisions. Maybe that's why the film is in such a predicament today.”
He also hopes that Pori Moni will receive a fair investigation in the ongoing trial. He thinks the people who led her to such a situation should also be investigated.
The Dhallywood superstar also hopes that Pori will someday learn from her previous decisions in life and move on with her life.
