BCB Election schedule announced, voting on June 7

The election schedule for the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Board of Directors election 2026 has been announced. According to the declared schedule, voting will take place on June 7.

In a press release signed today (Saturday) by Chief Election Commissioner Ahsanul Karim, the details were confirmed.

According to the schedule, the BCB Board of Directors election will be held on June 7 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The election results will be announced the same day at 6:00 PM.

As part of the election process, a draft voter list will be published on May 17. Objections to the draft list will be received on May 18, followed by a hearing on the morning of May 19. After the hearing, the final voter list will be published on the afternoon of the same day.

Nomination forms will be distributed on May 20 and 21 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The deadline for submitting nomination forms has been set for May 21 and 22, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Scrutiny of nomination papers and publication of the list of candidates will take place on May 23. Appeals will be accepted on May 24 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by hearings from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Withdrawal of nominations will be allowed on May 25 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and the final list of candidates will be published at 2:00 PM. Applications for postal or e-voting will be accepted until midnight.

Postal and e-ballots will be sent from June 1 to June 6, and the deadline for submitting these ballots is 1:00 PM on June 7.
