World Cup to be Played in Full Stadium

"We will have full stadiums. COVID will be defeated by then and we will all have learned to have lived with it." Said FIFA President Gianni Infantino claiming at a WHO briefing on Monday. "We will certainly not take any risk for the health of anyone when we play football,” added Infantino pledging to adhere to all the health protocols.

Meanwhile FIFA has launched official hospitality packages for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™. FIFA is expecting Strong demand after the pre-sales purchase period generated significant interest from FIFA’s Commercial Affiliates and prominent Qatari client groups.

FIFA is certainly displaying a hopeful approach towards the campaign. It might be noted that after the COVID pandemic took the world by storm last year, games were halted for a while and when they did resume, games were played behind closed doors. This marked one of the most dramatic Champions League campaigns which played the knockout stages in one leg.

The top domestic leagues in Europe are still being played behind closed doors with a few stadiums allowing a handful of spectators.

The tournament is heading to the Middle East for the first-time next year - with no plans to push back the start date - despite Euro 2020 having been postponed a year, due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Euro 2020 is expected to start from 11 June this year. It’s remains to be seen how the Euro campaign is arranged and how that affects the World Cup. But FIFA is expected to put on a grand show in Qatar World Cup, considering its grandeur.
