Police have discovered the bodies of a family of four in their home in Nabinagar upazila, Brahmanbaria.
The victims have been identified as Sohag Mia, 33, his wife Jannat Akhter, 25, and their two daughters, Faria Akhter, 4, and Fahima Akhter, 2.
According to Nabinagar Circle Additional Superintendent of Police Md Sirajul Islam, all four were found hanging inside their residence in the Bijoypara area around 10:30 a.m., following a report from local residents. The exact cause of death has not yet been determined.
Describing the situation as mysterious, the police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding their deaths. The bodies have been sent to Brahmanbaria General Hospital for autopsy.
