BNP Standing Committee member Salahuddin Ahmed flew to London on Friday morning for an important meeting with Tarique Rahman, the Acting Chairman of the BNP.
According to Sayrul Kabir Khan, from the BNP’s media cell, Salahuddin left Dhaka on a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight at 8:40 am from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.
Sayrul explained that the main reason for Salahuddin’s trip is to discuss party matters with Tarique Rahman.
Along with the political agenda, Salahuddin plans to spend some time with his daughter, who is currently residing in London.
This visit follows another high-level trip by BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, who traveled to London on November 30.
Fakhrul returned to Dhaka on December 12 after meeting with Tarique Rahman, attending various party functions, and engaging with local journalists during his stay.
Salahuddin`s visit comes at a crucial time for the BNP, with discussions likely focusing on future party strategies.
