A mild cold wave is sweeping over at least 17 districts of the country and the spell may continue today, said the Met Office.
The districts are Faridpur, Madaripur, Kishoreganj, Manikganj, Rajshahi, Ishwardi, Bogura, Naogaon, Natore, Dinajpur, Nilphamari, Panchagarh, Satkhira, Jashore, Chuadanga, Kushtia, and Barishal.
The winter chill is felt under the overcast skies of Dhaka. Even after half of the day, the face of the sun was not seen.
Dhaka on Saturday recorded the lowest night temperature of this winter at 11.6-degree celsius as an intense feeling of cold persisted in the city.
Meteorologist Md. Omar Farooq said the daytime temperature is increasing. As a result of which the daytime fog will reduce a lot from tomorrow. But there will be fog at night.
