Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi has said, the price hike of daily commodities in international market led the hike in local market.
He was speaking to reporters after unveiling a book which was written featuring the memories of freedom fighter5s in Rangpur on Saturday (September 18).
“The Directorate of National Consumers' Right Protection and commerce ministry are jointly monitoring the situation to keep the market in grip,” Tipu Munshi said.
“Efforts are underway to boost export and import with India to control commodities price. Plan has been taken to export fisheries in India,” added he.
