Cyclone Remal hits Dhaka, heavy rain with strong winds continue

On Monday afternoon, Cyclone Remal‍‍`s center entered Dhaka. The cyclone was expected to reach the city between 3 PM and 4 PM, as informed by Md. Azizur Rahman, the director of the Meteorological Department, in a press briefing earlier in the day.

At the press conference, he stated that during this time, wind speeds would reach up to 40 kilometers per hour, accompanied by heavy rain and gusty winds.

Since Sunday night, Dhaka has been experiencing rain due to Cyclone Remal. The rainfall has varied between heavy downpours and light drizzles, and this weather pattern continues.
