Major General Shakil Ahmed has been appointed as the new director general of the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB), reports BSS.
The Public Administration Ministry issued a gazette in this regard on Thursday.
According to the gazette, outgoing BGB chief Major General Md Shafeenul Islam has been transferred to the Armed Forces Division.
