Metro rail shuts down after emergency switch mistakenly gets pressed

Metro rail movement has been stopped since 2:40 pm today as the emergency switch has been mistakenly. 

It is known that two passengers of two consecutive trains going from Uttara to Motijheel pressed the emergency switch. This has affected the entire Metrorail. Metro Rail did not start till 3:00 pm.

Earlier, train movement was stopped for about 15 minutes due to dish wire falling on the power line of Dhaka Metrorail. Metrorail services were suspended shortly around 12 noon on Tuesday (January 23). The metro rail service then started around 12:28 pm.
