A photographer has been stabbed to death reportedly over previous enmity in Cox's Bazar, police said, adding that a person has been arrested in this connection.
The deceased is Mohammad Yusuf, who was subjected to the death at Chandrima area of Cox's Bazar city around 3:30pm on Sunday, said Cox's Bazar Additional Superintendent of Police Md Rafiqul Islam.
The deceased Yusuf's brother, Syed Ahmed, said that Yusuf and Sohel, the arrestee, also from the same neighborhood, had a little argument a few days earlier.
The incident might have led to a public stabbing on Sunday afternoon, Ahmed added.
An angry mob attempted to capture the suspect when the police arrived at the scene after hearing the news.
