An 11-year-old girl, Arabi Islam Suba, who had been missing since Sunday, was found in Naogaon.
She had traveled to Dhaka with her family for her mother’s cancer treatment and disappeared without a trace.
Jewel Rana, the Additional Deputy Commissioner of Mohammadpur Zone, confirmed the news to Independent Television.
Suba was located at the house of one of her male friends in Naogaon. The news came as a relief to her family, who had been frantic since her disappearance.
Her father, Imran Rajib, filed a general diary (GD) with the Adabar Police Station to help track down his daughter.
The family shared that they had recently moved from Barishal to Mohammadpur, where Suba`s mother was undergoing chemotherapy at the National Cancer Research Institute and Hospital.
Imran Rajib recalled the moment his daughter went missing: “On Sunday evening, around 6 PM, Suba left our house with her cousin.
At that time, a car passed by, and shortly after, she vanished.”
The family is grateful for her safe return after an intense search and hope for a peaceful resolution to their difficult time.
