A Biman Bangladesh Airlines plane collided with two cows on the runway while taking off from Cox's Bazar Airport. Two cows died in the fatal collision, but all 94 passengers were unharmed.
Several officials in charge of security at Cox's Bazar airport, anonymously, confirmed the matter.
The accident took place at around 5:58 pm on Tuesday (November 30) when a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight (EA-437) carrying 94 passengers was flying from Cox's Bazar to Dhaka. One of the wings of the plane hit two cows.
Cox's Bazar Airport sources said the plane landed safely at Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka at 6:05 pm.
