The 28th edition of the Dhaka International Trade Fair (DITF) is being held on January 21. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the fair.
Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) Director General-1 Mahbubur Rahman confirmed this information on Monday. He said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the trade fair on January 21. This fair will continue for a month.
Trade fairs usually start from January 1 every year. However, due to the election of the 12th National Parliament, the trade fair was delayed this time.
The trade fair is going to be held for the third time at the Bangabandhu Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Center (BBCFEC) in Purbachal, the outskirts of the capital. Earlier, trade fairs were held at Sher-E-Bangla Nagar in the city. Basically, the government shifted the trade fair from the main city to Purbachal to avoid public suffering.
