India`s next Assistant High Commission will be set up in Rangpur, said Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday.
He said this in a delegation-level meeting with his Bangladeshi counterpart Sheikh Hasina at Hyderabad House in New Delhi.
The Prime Minister of India said, "Initiatives have been taken to open a new Assistant High Commission in Rangpur for the convenience of the people of the northwestern region of Bangladesh."
At this time, Narendra Modi announced the launch of Indian e-medical visa for Bangladeshis.
