A member of the Kuki-Chin National Army (KNA) met his end during a military operation in Ruma, Bandarban, according to a press release from the Directorate of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Monday.
The ISPR report stated that the operation led to the recovery of a cache of weapons and ammunition. Additionally, it disclosed that a joint forces operation in Ruma resulted in the apprehension of 49 individuals suspected of ties to the Kuki-Chin National Front (KNF), including 18 women.
During the operation, authorities seized seven country-made firearms, 20 rounds of ammunition, KNF attire, laptops allegedly used for terrorist activities, two pairs of boots, a knife, and assorted tools from the eight captured suspects.
