The wife of Kuki-Chin National Front (KNF) chief Nathan Bom, has been transferred to the 250-bed hospital in Lalmonirhat.

She was identified as Ruma Upazila Health Complex’s nurse Lelsomkim Bom.

A transfer notice has been issued by the Health Services Division on Monday (April 8), in this regard.

Besides, another nurse Deepali Baroi from the same hospital has been transferred to Patgram Upazila Health Complex, Bandarban Civil Surgeon Mahbubur Rahman told the media on Thursday (April 11).

The notification mentioned that the duo senior nurses would have to join their respective workplaces by the afternoon of April 9. Otherwise, they would be considered stand-released.

Lelsomkim’s transfer comes a week after KNF militants stormed multiple bank branches on April 2 and 3 in Ruma and Thanchi upazilas. They looted money and weapons as well as abducted a bank manager, who was later rescued unharmed.
