Another victim passed away on Tuesday morning, bringing the total number of fatalities from the explosion at a building near the Science Lab area of Dhaka to four.
According to Inspector Bachhu Mia, in-charge of the Dhaka Medical College Hospital police outpost, Ayesha Akter Asha, who had 38 percent burn injuries, passed away at Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery at around 8:30 am on Tuesday.
He stated that the body had been kept in the hospital morgue for an autopsy.
Earlier on March 5, three people died and 12 were injured when a three-storey building partially collapsed due to the explosion.
