In connection with the catastrophic explosion at a building in the capital's Siddique Bazar of Gulistan area on Tuesday, police have filed a case regarding deaths as a result of negligence against unidentified suspects.
Palash Saha, a sub-inspector at the Bangshal Police Station, filed the case on Thursday night for for deaths due to negligence, according to Mujibur Rahman, the officer-in-charge (OC) of the Bangshal police.
On Wednesday, police filed an unnatural death case over the same incident.
Three persons were arrested by detectives on Thursday making liable for the massive explosion, which has so far claimed 22 lives.
The arrestees are Wahidur Rahman, his brother Matiur Rahman, and Motaleb Mintu, who has a business in the building.
