Poet and writer Farhad Mazhar has expressed concern over the lack of peace in the country following the July uprising. He stated, “In some cases, intolerance is rising among people.
Indiscriminate killings are taking place across the world, including Gaza. In response, we must strive to establish peace by following the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), who was sent by Allah as a mercy to all.”
Farhad Mazhar made these remarks on Saturday (6 September) at a peace rally organized by Anjuman-e-Rahmania Moinia Maizbhandaria Darbar Sharif at Suhrawardy Udyan on the occasion of Eid-e-Miladunnabi (PBUH).
He further added, “The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is the leader of all creation and our commander. He entrusted us with the responsibility to stand against oppression and urged the establishment of harmony among people. We must work to build a society where everyone can reach consensus on humanitarian values.”
