BNP’s acting chairman, Tarique Rahman, has expressed deep concern and sympathy over the tragic crash of a Bangladesh Air Force training aircraft at Milestone College in Uttara, Dhaka.
He called on all party leaders, activists, and citizens to stand by the victims and their families during this difficult time.
In a post shared on his verified Facebook page on Monday (July 21) afternoon, Tarique Rahman wrote, “We are deeply saddened by the heartbreaking incident of the plane crash at Milestone College. Educational institutions are meant to foster learning, growth, and emotional well-being—such a traumatic experience is never acceptable for any student.”
He further stated, “I offer my sincere prayers for the young lives who have been affected or witnessed this horrific event. I urge all BNP leaders, workers, and members of the professional community to extend their support to the victims in this time of crisis.”
Tarique Rahman emphasized the importance of national unity, saying, “We must overcome this tragedy together as a united nation.”
